Iranian Metals Trade Bans Accord to the Trumps Order

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump issued an exclusive order barring the purchase of Iranian iron, aluminium, steel and copper, giving rise to the tensions between the Islamic Republic after the declaration in less than a day that it may begin enriching uranium again in two months.

As per the order, the president Trump looks for to disagree with the Iranian government money, “that may be used to provide funding and support for the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, terrorist groups and networks, campaigns of regional aggression, and military expansion”

The prohibition on trading the Iranian metals, as per the order; the country is the world’s 18th largest steel exporter and is concerned with avoiding the Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon or intercontinental ballistic missiles.

According to the three administration officials, Iran’s third major source of export revenue comes from metals, they may eventually target the second largest source of export revenue which is petrochemicals.

In a statement, Trump said, “Under the Iran nuclear deal, Iran was free to engage in and sponsor terrorist networks, develop its missile force, foment regional conflicts, unjustly detain United States citizens, and brutalize its own people, all while maintaining a robust nuclear infrastructure”

Further, he adds, “Because of our action, the Iranian regime is struggling to fund its campaign of violent terror, as its economy heads into an unprecedented depression, government revenue dries up, and inflation spirals out of control”

On the matter, Iran said earlier on Wednesday that it would abandon the limits on the enrichment of uranium that it agreed to under the 2015 deal in 60 days unless European signatories can find a way for the country to involve in trade despite US Sanctions.

Since ending U S participation in 2015 nuclear, Obama management and other countries negotiated with Iran. The president has imposed again after a lapse in a series of sanctions on Iran’s economy. However, the most recent order aims to deject the foreign companies and other countries that might be trying to preserve the business with Iran.

Trump said he’s probably willing to meet Iranian leaders ‘someday’, “in order to work out an agreement and, very importantly, taking steps to give Iran the future it deserves,” as he has his North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
