Navjot Singh Sidhu Calls Modi ‘Feku No.1’, Says He Makes Empty Boasts

Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu called Prime Minister Narendra Modi the ‘Feku No. 1’, suggesting that he makes empty boasts. Navjot Singh Sidhu was previously banned by the Election Commission from campaigning is a cricketer-turned-politician.

Further, he calls the prime minister ‘biggest liar’ for not fulfilling his election promises that he made earlier.

At an election rally at Bilaspur in Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency, he said, “Modi talks of Hindutva but does not adhere to its principles.”

He added, “My mother was a Kshatriya. She used to say Raghukul reet sada chali aayi, pran jaye par vachan na jaye (one should keep promise even at the cost of death). But he has not fulfilled most of the 342 promises he made during the last elections.”

Meanwhile, Union Minister Smriti Irani pulled out the string at Rahul Gandhi during a rally at Palampur in Kangra constituency saying, “Will Rahul Gandhi apologize to the nation for his guru Sam Pitroda’s remarks on the anti-Sikh riots.”

During BJP President Amit Shah roadshow in Kolkata on Tuesday, Smriti Irani also flayed the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for violence. She told the voters, “Your vote will also enable Modi to eliminate the autocracy of the TMC.”
