A fresh allegation has been registered against President Donald Trump. The accusation states that he sexually assaulted a woman in his days as a real estate developer in the mid-1990s. It added to the long list of claims against him of sexual misconduct.
The writer and the celebrated agony aunt E Jean Carroll in a magazine story in New York magazine relates an incident in which she encountered Trump in the Manhattan department store Bergdorf Goodman in late 1995 or early 1996.
Carroll is 52-year-old and has recently started an advice column for Elle magazine called Ask E Jean. It is expected that he would have been 49 or 50 and probably married to Marla Marples.
“He seizes both my arms and pushes me up against the wall a second time, and, as I become aware of how large he is, he holds me against the wall with his shoulder and jams his hand under my coat dress and pulls down my tights,” she writes.
Carroll has alleged that Trump assaulted her in the dressing room in the store after he had asked her for advice on a present to buy a female friend. According to her, Trump selected a “lacy see-through bodysuit of lilac grey” and asked her to try it on for him, she quipped back that he should try it on.
When they reached the dressing room, Carroll alleges that Trump spring at her and over the next three minutes sexually assaulted her.
In a tweet, she says, “I made a list of hideous men in my life. It includes the president — who assaulted me in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman 23 years ago.”
She further states, he unzipped his trousers and forced his fingers around her genitals and thrust his penis “halfway – or completely, I’m not certain – inside me.” However, she managed to force him off, Carroll alleges, open the door of the dressing room and ran.
To which, Trump said, “Carroll was trying to sell a new book – that should indicate her motivation. It should be sold in the fiction section.”
He added, “Ms Carroll & New York Magazine: No pictures? No surveillance? No video? No reports? No sales attendants around?? I would like to thank Bergdorf Goodman for confirming they have no video footage of any such incident because it never happened.”
Carroll when describing one of her friend’s reaction on the same, Carroll writes: “‘He raped you,’ she kept repeating when I called her. ‘He raped you. Go to the police! I’ll go with you. We’ll go together.’”
